Naturasol Honey Muffins with Strawberry
It is a simple recipe that gives you 6 to 9 muffins, depending on the amount of strawberries you put in. It is ideal for a small family or when not everyone likes this type of preparation.
Ingredientes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 50 g unsalted butter
- ¼ cup Naturasol® bee honey
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 – 1 ½ cups strawberries (or any other fruit)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
- Place baking liners in the muffin pans or, if not using liners, grease the pans well.
- In a bowl sift the flour together with the baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a bowl beat the butter with the honey until the mixture is creamy.
- Add the egg and beat until well blended.
- Add the yogurt and honey and beat. If the dough is cut, add a spoonful of the dry ingredients already sifted.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
- Add the blackberries (or whatever berry you are using) and mix with a spatula.
- Divide the batter into muffin tins and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown and a tester comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven, let stand for 5 minutes and turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
