Crispy French Fries

Making crispy fries at home is easy and delicious, so enjoy your delicious crispy fries! You can serve them with ketchup, mayonnaise, or your favorite salsa.

Ingredients

  • 8 Selma Farms® Chipping Potatoes for Frying
  • 1 lt of oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Clean the potatoes (you can leave the skin on) and cut into thin slices with a sharp knife.
  2. Let stand in cold water for 30 minutes or more to ensure crispy fries.
  3. Pat dry with kitchen paper and let stand for a few minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or deep fryer until it reaches 175° C.
  5. Add the potatoes to the frying pan or deep fryer a little at a time and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Place the potatoes on absorbent kitchen paper to remove excess fat.
  7. Add salt and seasoning to taste.
